# Error OKX "51138 — The lowest price limit for the sell leg..."

On the OKX exchange, there is a **Price Limits** mechanism, which sets the minimum and maximum allowable prices for trades. These limits are calculated based on the market index and special formulas that take into account volatility and price dynamics. The purpose of this mechanism is to prevent sharp price fluctuations and protect market participants from manipulations.

**What this means in your case:**\
The bot sent a sell order at a price that turned out to be below the permissible limit set by the exchange. As a result, OKX returned error **51138**. This restriction is imposed solely by OKX rules and is not related to the bot’s functionality.

**Possible solutions:**

* Sell the asset manually on the exchange and then restart the strategy.
* Delete the strategy and recreate it using the "[*Import Asset*](/en/quick-start/2.9-asset-import.md)*"* function.
* Consider running the strategy on another supported exchange where such restrictions do not apply.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://hash7-gitbook.gitbook.io/en/faq/api-issues/error-okx-51138-the-lowest-price-limit-for-the-sell-leg....md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
