# 1.3.6 MEXC API Binding Tutorial **For security reasons, the API secret will be displayed only once. After closing the window, the API secret will no longer be accessible, so please copy the key in a timely manner.** If you are already a registered user, log in to your existing exchange account. If you do not have an account, you will first need to register and complete KYC. Open the MEXC app and go to the "Home" section. In this section, click on the "More" option.

In the menu, select the "API" option.

On the "API Management" page, under the Spot section, select the following options: * Account: ✅ View account details * Trade: ✅ View order details; ✅ Trade

Scroll down a bit and in the "Notes" section, name your API key.

Then open the HASH7 app. It the upper left corner press "Exchange".

Select the MEXC exchange and copy the IP-addresses.

Go back to the official MEXC app and paste the copied IP addresses from the HASH7 app into the **"**Bind IP Address" field. Below, check the box next to the statement confirming that you have reviewed the API user risk reminder. To complete the process, click "Create" and pass the security verification.

Next, copy your Access Key and Secret Key to a secure location and click "Confirm."

Then, reopen the HASH7 app and paste the copied keys into the corresponding fields. To complete the process, click the "Connect" button.
