# 1.3.7 KuCoin API Binding Tutorial **For security reasons, the API secret will be displayed only once. After closing the window, the API secret will no longer be accessible, so please copy the key in a timely manner.** If you are already a registered user, log in to your existing exchange account. If you do not have an account, you will first need to register and complete KYC. Open the KuCoin app and go to the "Home" section. In this section, click on the account icon in the top left corner.

Scroll down a bit and select the "API" option.

On the page that opens, click the "Create API" button.

On the "Create API" page: In the first field, "API Name", enter a name for your API key. In the next field, "API Passphrase", create and enter a secure passphrase.

In the "API Restrictions" section, select the "Spot Trading" option.

Scroll down to the "IP Restrictions" section and select the option: "Restrict to Trusted IPs only".

Then open the HASH7 app. It the upper left corner press "Exchange".

Select the KuCoin exchange and copy the IP-addresses.

Return to the official KuCoin app and paste the copied IP addresses from the HASH7 app into the displayed field. Then, click "Add".

After saving the IP addresses, click the "Next" button and complete the security verification process.

After completing the security verification, your API keys will be successfully created. Then copy your API Key (Key) and API Secret (Secret) to a secure location. Scroll down and click "Confirm" to finalize and save the keys.

Then, reopen the HASH7 app and paste the copied keys into the corresponding fields. In the "API Passphrase" field, enter the passphrase you specified in the API key settings in the KuCoin app. To complete the process, click the "Connect" button.
